This tweet from Copernicus EU is inaccurate. It implies damage to this Myanmar village was caused by the recent earthquake. But, imagery from 2024 shows almost the entire village was already destroyed by fire. il kanguru also showed FIRMS heat signatures from May 2023.

Mohammad Afif Naifeh dug thousands of graves between 2011/18, burying bodies which were brought to secret burial sites in refrigerator lorries. He fled Syria and gave evidence which led to the prosecution of regime officials.
