A Christian government and a government with social welfare programs are not synonymous for a Christian, if they believe governments, at best, have crude or unjust mechanisms for caring for the poor.

Many great matches are likely 1) outside of your theological/cultural comfort zone 2) totally within Christian orthodoxy. And I think many Christian women are willing to submit on secondary issues and attend their husband's church, especially if it has community.
