11 Black Knight wrestlers traveled to MHS for sub-regionals to wrestle Fluvanna and Monticello. 1 win you go to regionals, 2 gets you a 1 seed. At the end of the night 10 CHS wrestlers qualified, with 6 as 1 seeds. Sunny Deveaux capped the night off with her 1st win of the season

CHS Black Knight Wrestling has its first state place winner since 2014 and as far as we know, first time ever with 2. 132 lbs Fr. Walter Pilkey finishes 6th & 157 lbs Sr. Xavier Castaneda finishes 5th at the VHSL State 3 wrestling tournament in Salem VA.
