We have all been saddened by the news of the 215 Indigenous children buried at a Kamloops residential school. This tragedy is a reminder of the past injustices to Indigenous children, their families, and communities.

On this National day of Truth and Reconciliation, we remember the tragic events that Indigenous Families went through in residential schools. We recognize their journey towards healing. Today we honour the lives lost and to honour those who have survived residential schools.
