This was a scary moment and the vast majority of baseball fans don’t want to see it. But as someone who was there: there was absolutely not 40k fans cheering when Springer was hurt. Booing was weird but it was a smaller part of the crowd and mixed with Jays fans booing Woo.

For all the heartbreak, all the failed prospects, all the times we started the season knowing we wouldn’t be competitive. This is the moment, this is the team of destiny. This team was built for this day. Do it for us, everyone that came before, and those that couldn’t be here.

Everyone coming out of the woodworks to hate on the Mariners just shows you that no matter how bad you feel, there will always be people who want you to feel worse. Think I’ll just take a break for awhile.

I woke up this morning surprisingly in a better mood. I do not have hate in my heart, Im thankful for the season we had. There will be better days, the players will sit on this and I know they’ll have the drive to do this again. This is not the Mariners of the past, believe that.

I was able to squeeze that money I was going to spend into a flight to Hawaii for the wife and I and 2 nights in Leavenworth near Christmas Day. There’s a positive in every negative.
