Interested in low-frequency qubits like heavy fluxonium, and how to perform high-fidelity gates? Led by Daniel Weiss & joined by our Schuster friends David Schuster, we have a new preprint on a galvanic-coupling scheme for fluxonia based on non-RWA physics. arxiv.org/abs/2207.03971

My student Jake Bryon and Jens Koch's student Danny Weiss have just posted their work that experimentally verifies how to properly perform circuit quantization in the presence of time varying flux (arxiv.org/abs/2208.03738) Nice work team! @scqubit Daniel Weiss

In an experimental effort led by Jake Bryon and Andrew Houck, we show that care must be taken when modeling dynamics in the presence of time dependent flux. Simply taking flux -> flux(t) in your Hamiltonian is not enough!
