Working on some optimization. Going from 32 to 5 seconds. This was a test looping through 60 assets. And yes, I know Labs Edge Damage does something similar but this is the basis for a more complex tool.

I had a bit more time to work on the damage tool. After addressing the edge damage, it is now time to incorporate surface damage. Trying to be as procedural as possible, but also keeping in mind efficiency. #3d #houdini #wip #environment

Is there a method in SideFX #Houdini to select UV shells within a UDIM tile and center that selection within the tile? The pivot for the UV Transform is always at 0.0. Am I missing something?

I was tired of Adobe Substance 3D Painter flagging nearly invisible UV overlaps on UDIM tiles. So, I put together a VEX snippet that: ✅ Identifies the specific UDIM tile(s) in question. ✅ Scales them down from their centre by your desired amount. ✅ Or can even be looped to quickly
