🔴⚫️We extended our unbeaten run to five games despite throwing away a 2-0 lead, which saw both teams finish the game with 10 men. Special mention to Ben Cartwright for his second goal, which was definitely up there with one of our best goals of the season.🔴⚫️

⚫️🔴I'm slowly losing out on words to say for this lad. What a player he is developing. Yet another Man of the Match performance for our March Player of the Month. Only Josh Henshaw has won the accolade more times than our right back.👏🔴⚫️

⚫️🔴Tonight is our end of season presentation to celebrate our achievements over the past eight months. Thank you to Rabona at Matlock for being our hosts and we look forward to a good night.🔴⚫️

🔴⚫️What a fantastic turn out for our end of season presentation last night. Special thanks goes to not just the players for a fantastic season but also to Russ & Duncan for everything they do being the scenes and managers Fish and Daz.⚫️🔴

Starting with our end of season awards we have Managers Player of the Season. This player has rarely put a foot wrong all season winning the most player of the match awards but it's his attitude off the pitch that won him the award with his commitment and punctuality. 👏⚽️

Next is the award voted by the players themselves and I have to say it's another well deserved award. Sambo will play in any position without any hesitation but what has really stood out this season is his ability on the ball which has been a vital assett to the team. 👏⚽️

Unfortunately this player was unable to pick up his award last night but what a season he has had in front of goal. Scoring 22 goals in 27 appearances saw him finish 3rd overall in the league with his highlight of the season coming from a free-kick against Singh Brothers. 👏⚽️

On to The Reserves who have had a tough season. It would have been so easy to give up and let the team fold but credit to everyone who has stuck by Russ as stand in manager and gave their all for the team. Hopefully next season will be a better one with exciting things to come.

This player is one of the few that have held the team together this season. He is always willing to help out wherever needed. It's always hard stepping into the captains role but it's a challenge he has embraced and grew into as the season has gone on also scoring 6 times. 👏⚽️

This one was a close one but it went to another player who has been the back bone of the squad. Making 19 appearances this season shows his dedication and commitment as well as putting in some fantastic performances along the way winning him a few man of the match awards. 👏⚽️

This lads pace is unreal, blink and he's gone which causes defenders a headache. Not just top goalscorer but I have to say goal of the season as well as he won this award on the last game with a sublime long distance strike that flew into the goal. 👏⚽️

Rob Inckle was recognised for his commitment both on and off the pitch as he hangs up his boots after 25 years of playing for the club in various forms since making his debut aged 15. He will always be an important part of the club and we thank him for his contributions. 👏⚽️

There was one last surprise and it was the biggest of all. A special thank you from the lads to our chairman who goes above and beyond for the club even stepping into the role as reserves manager this season. The club would not be where it is without you. 👏⚽️

🔴⚫️A massive thank you to everyone who has supported the club both on and off the pitch. It has been another successful season for the First Team finishing 3rd in the league and despite the Reserves finishing second bottom their is definitely optimism for next season.⚫️🔴👏⚽️
