A very sweet shoutout from giselle fernandez and my Spectrum News 1 SoCal team following last night’s CWSoftballGame. The Bad News Babes took home the trophy with a 9-4 victory, but more importantly, we raised over $670,000 for the Young Survival Coalition! Can’t wait for next year! 🥎

Congrats to the #BadNewsBabes on their win in last night’s CWSoftballGame! Had a blast on the field alongside some strong women from both sides of the aisle.

Yesterday, we played a great game of softball for a good cause—breast cancer awareness. As a cancer survivor, I know what a difference the $670K we raised to support survivors can make. The press may have won this CWSoftballGame, but we'll all win when we #BeatCancer! 🏆🥎

Hitting it out of the park for a good cause! 🥎💕 This week, members of Congress & the D.C. press corps faced off at CWSoftballGame to raise funds & awareness for Young Survival Coalition, an organization supporting young women with breast cancer. We had a blast cheering on Tori Barnes, who

Congratulations to Team Bad News Babes on another victory at this year’s CWSoftballGame! Thank you to Young Survival Coalition for inviting us to be part of such a great event empowering the breast cancer community. #TeamBadNewsBabes

Women supporting women! The annual CWSoftballGame game was a success—raising over $670,000 for young women cancer survivors. DWC members turned out in full and played their hardest under the leadership of Congress Team Captain Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz!

Always great to meet with GE HealthCare to discuss breast cancer issues and how we can keep improving access to necessary screening. I’m so grateful that they brought their mobile van to the #CWSG!

At this year’s CWSoftballGame, our colleague Cara Bisegna shared her survival story. We are proud to support survivors like her.

We had a special guest at the CWSoftballGame — Brielle Robinson, Sgt. 1st Class Heath Robinson’s daughter! She’s grown so much since she was here to fight for her dad’s bill, the #PACTAct, and she told me she’s playing softball now too. Maybe someday she’ll be on Team Congress!

Great to share with Cassie Semyon the @CWSoftballgame origins and my own battle with breast cancer. Raising awareness can be critical for young women to get the right info, tools and support in their difficult journey.

Thank you, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, for sharing your story with me and for raising awareness for breast cancer! This year’s CWSoftballGame raised over $670,000 for Young Survival Coalition, a nonprofit assisting young adults diagnosed with breast cancer. More from our conversation:

Congrats on your win #BadNewsBabes, but we'll be back next year! I had a great time participating in the CWSoftballGame and raising over $670,000 for Young Survival Coalition! Great game with an even greater cause!🥎

It’s critical we share the right info to support those battling breast cancer and remind women to get their #mammograms! For #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, here’s a #throwback to @Casssemyon's story on my breast cancer battle and the CWSoftballGame's goal and origins.

October is #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth - an issue I care very deeply about.🩷 Please schedule your mammograms and do your self exams — you are your own best advocate for your health! Thank you to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz for sharing your story with me and women across the country. I am
