I was glad to receive Dr Richard Somiari, President of ITSI-Biosciences at CRID. We identified a lot of potential routes of collaboration. This will improve procurement of scientific supplies, reagents and equipments which are key for efficient research activities in Africa.


I was glad to receive Pr. Benjamin Koudou from CSRS CĂ´te d'Ivoire CĂ´te d'Ivoire. We explored paths of collaboration between our institutions as we aim to mutually support each other. This will reinforce South-South collaboration, which is key for research.


Today, I signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Centre Pasteur du Cameroun. The aim is to promote scientific collaboration on infectious diseases and enhance research through joint projects. This will boost our competitiveness in the research field, as uniting strengths makes us stronger.

Today, I laid the foundation stone for the African Centre for Vector Genomics (AVecGen) building. Funded by Gates Foundation , this project aims to establish state-of-the-art genomics and bioinformatics facilities at CRID-Cam. #VectorGenomics LSTM MalariaGEN

New Staff Bus inaugurated Today, CRID unveiled a 30-seat Toyota bus to boost staff comfort and daily commutes. After the ribbon-cutting, Prof. Charles Wondji praised the team’s dedication to work and urged everyone to care for this new asset.
