One thing I can guarantee as a 🏀 coach is I will give you the truth in all situations. I won’t sugarcoat it - I am going to tell you flat out, some guys feed off it other guys fold from it.

There’s levels to levels in life and 🏀🏀🏀. I seen guys who were god gifted to be at a certain level but don’t work hard and should be playing at a much higher level. Then you got guys who exceed expectations and grind and get to where they shouldn’t be!

You will see growth in your life when you take accountability for everything that is going on. Most outcomes are self-inflicted in a good or bad way. Don’t make excuses - take ownership.

The Value of Prep School has diminished tremendously. Anyone & everyone can go “Prep” or do a Gap year. If you going to a prep school that doesn’t have a consistent facility, campus, or environment that provides a true opportunity to develop. You are wasting your time.

Kids get stuck on 🏀 levels then don’t play and transfer. Consider if playing time is important or if you are willing to develop for a year. If not, go to a level where the coach is discussing the expectation of playing time, maybe not just given but truly a chance to earn it.

This new day in age of recruiting you can’t take anything personal!! As a player and a coach. Players can come & go how they please but make sure you realize that can go both ways. Coaches will tell you I think it’s in your best interest to find a new home!
