New member St Cuthbert's Society: Boisil the hedgehog! 🦔 Kindly donated by Dr Fiona Gameson, Anglo-Saxonist & our SCR President, Boisil is named after the prior who received St Cuthbert into Melrose in 651. Prior Boisil's successor will greet visitors at the door of our Melrose room!

Our Annual SCR Lecture with Prof Adam Ockelford (University of Roehampton) was a fascinating journey into "Making Sense of Music Making Sense." A huge thank you for the insightful perspectives drawn from Music Theory and Music Psychology. Thank you to everyone who attended! 🎵
📜 Today, we saw #MagnaCarta Durham Cathedral. 2025 marks 800 years since 👑 Henry III issued the definitive text, celebrated (& mythologised!) as a touchstone of human rights. This was the latest event in our #Evergreen enrichment programme. 🌱
