Yesterday we were in the lecture theatre of the Royal Institution (THE place of the Christmas Lectures) and I was doing a talk, then this morning filming for the BBC. This evening; off for a few days in the Lake District.

Fieldwork in the Forest of Dean last week with the British Mycological Society, spent a lot of time looking at animal poo, but these are my beautiful, beautiful children. Look at them! (Microglossum pratense, Bisporella sp., Gliophorus psittacinus, and Clavulinopsis sp.)
