It’s official! Andon Trout has signed to wrestle at Wartburg College in Waverly next year and Luke Spaur has signed to Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA! Congrats!

The Knoxville Middle School wrestlers traveled to Newton this evening for competition against Newton, Pella, and Grinnell. A lot of good competition and we finished 31-27 with 26 pins! We will be back at it after the turkey holiday on Monday the 28th in Pella.

The Knoxville Middle School wrestlers traveled across the river to Pella last night. Competition was strong all night. The young Panther squad went 16-15 on the night with 10 pins. Seeing big improvements with these kids! Next meet is Thursday in Carlisle.

The middle school wrestlers wrestled in Carlisle tonight, so we had to support our high school Panther wrestlers from a far. Our team went 21-15 with 19 pins. We had 8 wrestlers go 2-0 on the night and 1 went 1-0.

Knoxville Middle School wrestlers competed in Monroe tonight, going 24-15 with 20 pins. Going undefeated on the night were Brody Deaver, Jessen Ferguson, Emmitt Hyatt, Jace Kading, Mason Sage, Gavin DeJong, and Dayton Sotter.

Change of plans for our varsity wrestling team this weekend- we are no longer wrestling at Roland Story Saturday. We are instead wrestling in the Regina Invitational at Iowa City Regina High School. Bus leaves at 4:45am. Tournament starts at 9am.
