With the outstanding Justice Natalia Ángel Cabo (Colombian CC), discussing the challenges of constitutional courts in Latin America. As Richard Albert wrote "democracy is fragile. It must be nurtured. Democracy takes decades to build, but it can collapse in a generation."

Preocupa-me a divisão moral, quase a jeito de sinalização da virtude, implícita no rótulo "humanista" atribuido à posição maioritária do TC. Como se não houvesse humanismo nos juízes que votaram em sentido contrário. Distintas leituras da Constituição, igualmente legítimas.
