As the saying goes... If at first you don't succeed try, try, again. And what I like even better is "You Never Fail Until You Stop Trying". It's a bitter pill to swallow sometimes but you must pick yourself up, and sometimes even cry all your make-up off and start again.

Having the sun hit your face is so healing!! Especially when we were in quarantine for so many days. Stepping out into the sunlight changed my whole perspective. Find the things that help fuel you. If it's a quick walk, a call to a friend, a hug from someone you love. Feel alive!

My outlook can get clouded when things are not going well. I have learned after losing my dad at a young age of 20 that every day is important and to cherish the days we do have. I know life is short and want to live every moment like it's the most beautiful moment in time.

Today I'm reflecting on my life and all that God has brought me out of. I am no longer a victim but now I live in freedom. I never stopped singing through it all and will always be grateful for the woman I am becoming. Greater is ahead ❤️❤️❤️

Sometimes in life, you feel like a warrior going through battle after battle but I promise you the best is yet to come. We may have scars but they don't define us it just reminds us of what we came out of. We don't walk alone. God is with us always.

What will you replace your hurt with? Toxic thoughts will only rob you of a life of freedom. Letting it haunt you forever will only bring more pain. Let's give it away and replace it with good. Beauty for ashes as cliche as it sounds will change everything.
