The rumors are true! I successfully defended my PhD on 4/5 with only very minor corrections. Also there was an east coast earthquake that caused a ruckus on the zoom during my defense! The last "major" east coast EQ hit during my 1st job orientation after my first PhD!

I am SO excited to share that I have accepted a research/teaching post-doc at Stony Brook Medicine ! I am over the moon (and sun - eclipse joke) to return to the mid-atlantic and collab with some of world's finest archosaur experts. Go Seawolves! (What is a seawolf? Is it aquatic?)
