Went to renew my APA membership American Psychological Association and was asked about felony convictions. My membership is pending until a review board can decide. Found this very interesting as the APA, if any1, should know the discriminatory and prejudicial tactics of the U.S. criminal justice system 🤔

I'll say it again: qualitative methods should be a required course for all PhD programs. We'd be better as a discipline at assessing the merits of qualitative work versus rejecting it for things like small samples and no generalizability.
