It is great that Gary got The Canary to issue such a humiliating apology but Jewish people involved in Labour politics shouldn’t have to constantly deal with this sort of abuse from far left platforms.

This is interesting - while just 15% support Israel, only 29% support the Palestinians. 43% in the Sunday Times poll support neither or both sides. The Government is more in sync with British public opinion than I would have expected. 41% support the ban on Palestine Action.

This is truly absurd. I have known Tim for over 30 years and he has never been anything but supportive of gay equality. And his views on trans issues are in line with government policy.

Ted Short is the ideal role model for a new Labour deputy leader. Decent and well-liked, he was elected Labour Deputy Leader in 1972 after Roy Jenkins resigned over Europe. He had no ambition to be PM and served without controversy for 5 years.
