Two of these three students have never experienced camping! And oh my gosh, rain for the last two hours just now cleared and we’ve successfully set up tents in the most glorious light. Hallelujah ⛺️

Not sure which was more amazing today, the sunrise over Blythe basin full of clouds and light, or the stunning outcrops in this location (among my favorite in the world).

Yeah, I’m a bit stereotypical geology looking here. But it’s sunny and hot! And look at these fossils/facies!
