Desktop view is now supported in COSMIC. Right-clicking an empty desktop and selecting “Desktop view options” opens a settings window for your desktop. Show or hide desktop folders, drives, or the Trash; you can also adjust icon size and spacing between icons from this window.

Installing NixOS onto the System76 Thelio Astra was a piece of cake. Didn't even have to configure drivers for the NVIDIA card to get a tty.

Workspaces=Productivity! From the workspace overview, click the pin icon next to a workspace to make it permanent. You can pin as many as you like and rearrange them by clicking and dragging even across displays. There is a dynamic workspace at the end of pinned workspaces.

If you type ? into cosmic-launcher it lists its functionality 🤓

OK- cosmic-term users... header or no header? Fun Fact- If you disable the header in cosmic-term settings, you can right-click in the terminal window to toggle it back on without having to go back to settings.
