A Strabane man who was the victim of a serious assault on Monday has died. Tributes are being paid following the passing of Stephen Holmes. Local SF Cllr Paul Boggs: “My deepest sympathies go to Stephen’s family and friends as they come to terms with this tragic loss.”

Visited St Michael’s Cave in Gibraltar today. An amazing experience, physically and spiritually. A natural amphitheatre. I asked has anyone famous performed here. “The Irish funny man Dara Ó Briain has been here,” said our taxi driver. As a fan, it made me smile muchly.

Yesterday I had the honour of presenting Conal McFeely of Derry's Rath Mor Centre with the first copy of the North West Anti-Racism Charter. The document is entitled 'In This Place'. Expect to see more in shops, barbers, pubs and so on in the weeks and months ahead.
