"Obligations 2" by Long Soldier redefines "poem" as "space for unfolding." Instead of a singular, correct way to read, we are thrown into agency. Which read is the path to healing? Which is the path of the grief, the grief, the grief, the grief? How do they connect &/or fissure?

From josé olivarez ‘s book “Citizen Illegal” I think about this poem a lot. It’s that haunting sensation that hits home.
