With the assistance of 25 volunteers, coordinated efforts by Embassy of China in Maldives STO, Housing Development Corporation MCTCO, CCCC & CHEC we managed to distribute 44T of onions donated by the China Chamber of Commerce in a single day. This evening, the China Chamber of Commerce held a event to appreciate the efforts of volunteers, as well as the assistance from Housing Development Corporation , STO & Maldives Police in successfully distributing 40 tons of onions within a day. The event was attended by Ambassador Kong Xianhua & Abdulla Muththalib

Thanks to the joint efforts of relevant Maldivian Govt departments & NGOs @MCTCO The Commoners, 44 tonnes of onions donated by 🇨🇳 Chamber of Commerce in 🇲🇻 have been distributed to local people within 24 hours, which is highly appreciated & very helpful to promote 🇨🇳🇲🇻 friendship.
