The DK 33 number is frustrating because Pittsburgh is in a Hail Mary season, and if things go south then that entire regime is getting nuked. They traded their young WR because he was a nuisance and had to make a move with Metcalf. They have nothing to lose with that overpay.

I’m all for the Jacory Croskey-Merritt hype, to include some others this year. But I like to keep a level head with these guys because I was also all for the: Trey Quinn hype Nico Marley hype Mack Brown hype Jimmy Moreland hype Mitchell Tinsley hype Simmie Cobbs Jr. hype

I’m a big fan of the CB room this year. Good mix of youth and experience. Got your big money guy in Latt, couple of highly touted youngsters in Sainristil and Amos, and then if someone gets a boo-boo you’ve got two savvy vets in Noah I and Jonathan Jones.

Not really moved by Jayden having a reported “rough day” today in camp. I want to see those risks, tests, mistakes now. Learn and build in camp so that you do it correctly in a real game.

When states regulate sports betting, illegal activity drops. But when states try to "crack down" with more laws and higher taxes, they miss the point—people are going to bet on sports. Making it harder will just send them to shady offshore sites.

After the 2 starting stud LB’s (one who’s 35). They have; Magee, who’s allergic to the field. Bellore, who’s even older than Wags, and then rookie Madrano. I think this is one of their top concerns, and they grew impatient with Hampton and went the veteran route with Riley.

One thing on Terry that isn’t brought up enough: His skill set ages well. He isn’t one of these high point, big body, physical receivers that fall off a cliff right at 30. His comps in skill set are guys like Larry Fitz, Marvin Harrison (not saying he’s those guys) but 30

I don’t think Kliff said anything with an intent on calling out or scolding Terry. But I do think he, like many of us, are tired of the saga and want to focus on building on an early championship window. He turned down the head coaching pool for this thing.

I’m kinda unmoved by the Brian Robinson news. Rivera pick. 700 yds three years in a row. They know what he is. There’s definitely a role for a player like him, but I think they look at that role as being easily filled and the value of trade outweighing the value of keeping.

Was bored snooping around on some old receiver stats trying to find a good Terry comp. I think the closest I’ve found is Donald Driver. Career stared at 24. 6 straight 1000yd seasons age 29-34. Similar size, consistency. Biggest difference is Driver played with Favre and

This doesn’t happen without Bates taking out two guys at once. That’s why he’s the highest paid “blocking tight end” in the league.
