someday your kids are going to figure you out. i promise you they will. the type of parent you are. the type of spouse you are. how you treat other people. how much effort you put into them. you are either going to be someone they look up to, or someone they never wanna be like.

i heard a therapist say, ‘your feelings are always valid, your behavior is not.’ she explained by saying feel what you feel but you need to be accountable for what you do as a result of those feelings.

lately my body has just been craving complete silence, solitude and stillness.

i need to sit by the ocean and disassociate for like three days
