The The Royal Logistic Corps Troop Commanders course went on a exercise delivered by 6 Regiment RLC. Covering vehicle control point drills, casualty extraction and basic convoy drills, preparing them for EX TIMBER TRUSS, the final test EX before going to their units.@LWC_UK DSLA

Following a remembrance service the The Royal Logistic Corps Tp Comds Cse deployed to Salisbury Plain with Commanding Officer 6 Regt RLC for their Final Ex of the Cse. Over this week they will command and lead soldiers for the first time, prior to joining units in the The Field Army. DSLA @LWC_UK

The Joint Logistic Officers Course culminated with presentations overseen by DCLPA_HQ with mentors from RAF Logistics The Royal Logistic Corps Royal Navy. 5 NATO countries represented both learning and sharing experiences. DSLA @LWC_UK HQ ARRC UK’s Standing Joint Force HQ

As the first week of the International Logistic Officers’ Course comes to an end, the Officers from Ghana and Kuwait can reflect on lessons learnt from Strategic Command, 102LOGX, 104 Theatre Sustainment Brigade, NATO Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, DSLA, and DCLPA_HQ. We also popped into No 10 Downing Street.

On the road this week, the International Logistics Officers’ Course and DSLA have spent the day Defence Equipment & Support and DSCOM in Abbey Wood focusing on procurement and strategic base outload. Tomorrow we travel to RAF Brize Norton to understand Air (A4) operations.

Another two busy days for the International Logistic Officers’ Course DSLA with a visit to RAF Brize Norton to learn from 1 Air Mobility Wing, A4 Ops and Logs Sqn about RAF Logistics and a joint Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Late Entry Officers’ Course visit to Parliament.

Today Royal Navy hosted DSLA International Log Officers’ Cse at HMNB Portsmouth. Students were briefed on Carrier Strike Gp log and Fwd log Sites (UK Carrier Strike Group), Tendered Log Spt (COMSURFLOT) and ended in a tour of HMS Severn.

Today the DSLA International Logistic Officers’ Course visited Exercise Logistic Safari, The Royal Logistic Corps, speaking to Officer Cadets, soldiers and Officers from Commando Logistic Regiment, 13 Air Assault Support Regiment, 11 EOD & Search Regiment and 27 Regiment RLC.

The International Logistics Officers’ Cse concluded their week by visiting the Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation Programme at the Defence Fulfilment Centre (TVS Supply Chain Solutions, Kuehne+Nagel, Leidos) and a cultural visit to Chelsea (Royal Hospital Chelsea & Chelsea FC). thank you all!

Today the DSLA International Logistics Officers’ course got to visit the home of the British Army 🇬🇧 Officer, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and receive a tour by the Sandhurst Trust. Tomorrow and for the rest of the week it is logistic planning time! Prepare the Four Ds.
