Once the trade is completed, the Spurs will have 12 players on the roster. 3 open roster spots now plus 3 open two-way spots The Spurs will be $8.5 mil below the tax and $16.5 mil below the 1st apron hard cap

Regarding those 3 open roster spots, the Spurs have $3.1 million left of the NTMLE and the full $5.1 million BAE.

Wemby only played 46 games last season. The Spurs were 13-23 when he was out. A full season of Fox and Wemby, more games played by Wemby, and development from Castle would mean an increase in wins already. Then they also went out and filled holes. Should see a jump in wins.

If it can happen to Luka, I’m saying Wemby and Jokic and that’s it. The test. If the Spurs called team X and offered Wemby for their best player would the team say yes? I think it’s just Denver that says no
