That's my experience as well. Every one of my Democratic friends is in a state of shock and dismay. The dominant response across the political spectrum is the same. We can't let the worst voices define how we respond to this moment. They are the fringe. Treat them like it.

Couldn’t agree more w/ David French. People who actually spend time on campus are optimistic and motivated by what they see. It’s only the people who comment from afar or likely haven’t step foot on a campus in decades who paint the dark picture.
