Children's author, Carmel Kelly, giving a talk in our school library this morning on the history of Wicklow Gaol. Carmel has just published a children's book on the Gaol, one of a series of children's books on Irish history that she's produced. JCSP Library Project CCM Wicklow

Some of our students attended a workshop today with 'Fighting Words', who provide creative writing workshops designed to promote creativity and writing as a fun and powerful means of self-expression. The workshop took place in Wicklow Public Library. JCSP Library Project CCM Wicklow

A 'Paired Reading' initiative taking place in our school library today. TY students kindly volunteered to act as tutors to our 1st year students to help improve their reading. The Paired Reading programme is one of our most effective initiatives. JCSP Library Project CCM Wicklow

Reuben the Entertainer, was the special guest at our JCSP Summer Celebrations, which took place today in the school library. It was great to see so many parents attend also. These celebrations are a reward for the achievements of these students. JCSP Library Project CCM Wicklow
