As a former XC coach, I recognized that schools with hills to train on did better overall... because hills make you faster and stronger. So, in life, if you're given hills, be thankful... because you will be transformed after you get to the top.

Working with 2 graders, I realized you do not need a device management software for them. They are walking surveillance units. Put one or two of them on duty and you will know what everyone is doing on their devices in real time 🤣

Does anyone know of another alternative to video recording programs like Bongo or GoReact? They are recording, and/or video uploading, tools that allow the viewers to give collaborative timestamped feedback among other things.

Are scripted curriculums worth the cost to the taxpayers? -Minor proficiency gains -Major decline in advanced level students Could the same results have occurred for less cost to taxpayers if leadership used their expertise to design a curriculum tailored to their population?

Public education is still unprepared for major disruptions (covid and AI examples)... Students are graduating with fewer prospects and less ability to pivot. Serious introspection is needed... and fast.
