-A deep breath.- I just don’t want to go to Lorelai’s wedding. I know we are still friend but I haven’t gotten past the whole sleeping with Christopher at the first sign of trouble.

It is not consuming me. . . I am genuinely surprise and a little annoyed that’s all.

“No.” His answer is resolute, no hesitation whatsoever. “I love you.”

“I have never been so sure of anything in my life but I am absolutely sure of my feelings for you.”

“Had a good jog?” He’s already serving her a cup of coffee.

Leaning over the counter he gave her a kiss, before pushing her coffee her way. “That’s good to hear. Why don’t you take a relaxing bath. I’ll bring you something to eat.”

An eye roll but he’s nodding, waking around the counter to kiss the top of Lorelai’s head. “Guess I’m it be with you all day.” That actually sounds very nice.

There was something about that sentence that didn’t add up but he doesn’t think much of it as he put his arm around her shoulder.

“What?” He asked, craning his head to look at her. “Did I miss something ?”

“. . . What?” He sounds like a broken recorder. Stepping in Luke’s brow furrow, closing the door behind him. “I’ve had like two hours of sleep last night. I think my brain is still buffering.”
