Coloradans already know Gravity Haus, a hybrid hotel/coworking space/foodie hangout/outdoor-adventurer gathering spot with locations in Breckenridge, Vail, Winter Park and Steamboat Springs. Now more people outside the state will be introduced to it: bizjournals.com/denver/news/20…

Denver and Southern California now have a stronger ski connection, thanks to Alterra Mountain Co.: bizjournals.com/denver/news/20…

Ventured out to CanyonlandsNPS today. Colorado has amazing beauty. But Utah has Mesa Arch, and it was so stunning that my son had a transformational moment in his love of the outdoors. He told me that neither words nor pictures do it justice.

A fun event coming up: On Aug. 23, I'll be at Museum of Boulder discussing how to travel the state's historical sites while also soaking in the #CraftBeer scene. The talk is part of the museum's "Beer Here!" exhibit on Colorado's legacy of brewing: museumofboulder.org/events/on-tap-…

Thx to Museum of Boulder for having me up last night to speak about the adventures of #beer and historical travel I chronicled in my book. I didn't snap any photos during my presentation, but here's one of me sharing beer w/ some attendees afterwards at nearby Bohemian Biergarten.

Some days are about history and some days are about hops. Today is all about nature. Cheers to you, Loveland Ski Area.

If yesterday was all about nature, today is all about hops. I'm crawling through Denver's Park Hill and Central Park neighborhoods today with friends, and we've started at Ephemeral Roating Taproom and Station 26 Brewing. The Station 26 triple IPA is particularly impressive.

Anyone want to talk Belgian #beer traditions while sipping on a few? On Friday at Denver Press Club, I'll be giving a talk about the history and character of Trappist ales while leading a tasting of four Trappist beers and one Colorado-made abbey ale: spotlightcolorado.com/calendar/event…

Denver is now home to just the 2nd Ninja Warrior adventure park in the U.S. And I can confirm it's as much fun as you could hope to have with your kids while battling in an inflatable area or carving up a course.

A huge thanks to the folks at Colorado Parks and Wildlife and State Forest State Park for selling my book at your fantastic visitor center. We visited the park for the first time on Sunday and were awed by its beauty and charmed by its family-friendliness.

I absolutely love how Colorado the new playground at Denver Museum is - and how much space they leave to contemplate and enjoy nature too.

Thanks to Mindy Sink for including my book and thoughts in your The Denver Post article today on the best Colorado hikes for all seasons. If I can inspire people in any way to get out and see the beauty of Colorado, I have done my job.

Kudos to History Colorado for its fun and informative exhibit on the 1990s, in which I got to explain to my kids what it was like to come into adulthood with things they can't fathom, like video stores and dial-up internet.

One of the great spring celebrations in Colorado is the City of Arvada Kite Festival. Jane and I spent four hours taming the wind there yesterday, and I can't think of a better way I could have spent my day.
