Alumnus Alex Gold '13 ran 2:28:58 for 172nd place in the world's most famous running race, the Boston Marathon! Other DFDC Boston Marathon finishers today were Aaron Spak '15, Matt Gold '18, and Declan Black '19. Congrats!

Great day for the frosh/soph at Barrington yesterday. The young guys are showing big things! Distance highlight of the meet: 2nd place Distance Medley Relay team of Jasper Fine, Wade Perrelli, Ethan Reich, and Logan Luo.

EPIC moment at Lake County last night! Noelan Tossing's foot got ripped by somebody's spike in a collision that caused a race re-start. He insisted on still racing. He proceeded to win the heat in a 5-sec mile PR of 4:42 on a bloody foot that got five stitches later that night.

Huge night for Danny Kriegel! He joined the sub-10 3200m club with his 9:59.07 for 7th place at the Lake County Meet.

6 distance freshmen, 4 distance events. March 17 CSL South Indoor: 9 points May 12 CSL South Outdoor: 24 points That's a trend 📈 s/o to Beckett Shifrin who got third as part of the 4x800, third in the 3200m (10:48), and fourth in the 1600m (5:07), and is now very sore :)

Congrats to our newest sub-5:00 miler Beckett Shifrin! He ran 4:57.48 on Monday. That puts our team total at 16 sub-5 milers this season! Also, big PRs and second place finishes from both Hugo Albrecht-Buehler in the two-mile (10:02.23) and Logan Luo in the mile (4:42.46).

🚨STATE QUALIFIER ANDREW CALDERON!🚨 1600m run - 4:20.83 The smallest runner in a crowded field was bumped to the back right away. 1st lap - 12th 2nd lap - 12th 3rd lap - 7th Finish - 3rd 9th seed coming in. 3rd place finish. Three second PR. One second under the state cut.
