Beautiful and strong signals from AmSat-EA HADES-R satellite. FM repeater was ON and I made a couple of QSO (thanks goes to Heber XE1BJ and WD5GRW - Jim for it). Pretty awesome to have a new bird to play with!

After many many months of long wait Arctic Weather Satellite (AWS) finally stopped sending filler and resume Direct Broadcast data in L-Band (1707 MHz). Here are a couple of images from today's morning and evening passes. Decoded with mighty #SatDump

A commercial venture messing around and being entirely disrespectful with the use of the spectrum. Shame on you AST 😡 Get out of the band!!! If you wanna do business go ahead and pay and use S-band for TTC instead of cutting corners!

Threat to 70cm band. AST SpaceMobile have 5 Bluebird commercial LEO satellites using amateur radio 430-440 MHz band. They have asked FCC to authorize a further 243 commercial satellites in #HamRadio band. FCC is asking for your comments, see amsat-uk.org/2025/06/26/use… #amsat #hamr

After another nationwide power grid collapse yesterday, it's now over 36 hours without electricity. 160W emergency solar panel in the roof and an old degraded lead-acid battery help to get through the night with a couple of LED lights and do some satellite QSO during daylight.

Some rudimentary attempts of doing astrophotography with a cellphone yesterday as there was nothing better to do during the power grid outage
