On Feb. 15, 1982, 84 men lost their lives on the Ocean Ranger, a semi-submersible offshore drilling unit that sank in Canadian waters on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. We honour them with focus on safety & environmental protection in decisions we make as an offshore regulator.
