If someone denies that baptism saves, I’d wager that they affirm one or more of the following: - salvation happens at one moment in time (contra 1 Cor 1:18, 1 Cor 15:2, Phil 2:12, John 15:4) - salvation cannot be lost (contra Matt 13:20-21, Heb 6:4-6, 2 Peter 2:20, Rom 11:19-22)

It is fair and sometimes necessary to say “Believing [insert doctrine] is outside orthodox Christianity.” It is a waste of time and energy to say “[insert individual] is in hell.”
