Well it has a busy year for team Musselburgh Labour it has been great working with Councillor Ruaridh Bennett to ensure we have a presence at all the community meetings So as this year draws to a close want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

A very busy 2024 for Team Labour in Musselburgh, working with andrew forrest we have attended many community meetings and assisted many constituents through surgeries and casework. Of course, we've had fun throughout the year, too! Happy New Year 🎉🎉🎉

Great time out in #Blindwells chatting with residents about the estate and also their hopes for Scotland and the need for a #NewDirection with Scottish Labour

The truth is that the SNP has lost their way and Scotland deserves better. ⬇️

On tonight

It was great to attend a roundtable discussion on the future of the Brunton Theatre. A constructive conversation and cross-party consensus on the importance culture and the arts is for Musselburgh and beyond.

At Edinburgh airport flying out to Berlin for the Berlin International Wado's Karate Tournament

Today, to mark 80 years since the victory in Europe, andrew forrest and I attended the Musselburgh VE day parade. A fantastic turnout from our Cadet Forces and Townspeople to mark this day and pay our respects to those who fought against tyranny to free Europe from oppression.

Today, andrew forrest and I volunteered with the Musselburgh Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets to help out at the Edinburgh Marathon finish line. Congratulations to all those who ran the half and full marathon it was great to be a part of it all !
