The restored Victorian drinking fountain in the centre of Shepton Mallet has been officially unveiled. The team at our Bath Workshop are delighted to have been involved with the repairs, working with the excellent team at Shepton Mallet Town Council sheptonmallet-tc.gov.uk/2024/09/30/vic…



Our Norfolk team has been busy at Baconsthorpe Castle English Heritage applying mortar benching to wall heads, galleting to secure and replace loose flint, repointing brickwork and building a new brick arch to support a fragile wall.



Our Norfolk team is making excellent progress Ely Cathedral. The conservation cleaning & sensitive repair of the Bishop West's Chapel Screens is complete. The team are now moving on to the Bishop Alcock's Chantry Chapel to continue with the programme of conservation treatment.


We are pleased to continue supporting The King's Foundation. Our team welcomed two students, Jess & Sam, who have been working on site alongside our conservators to further their own trades of plaster & stone respectively, as well as learning new skills including gilding.

Congratulation to The Salisbury Museum who won an award for its recent repairs & conservation work in association with their Past Forward project, at the Salisbury Civic Society Conservation Awards Scheme 2024. We were named as 'Conservation Contractor' on the winning certificate.

The Oxford Road Mural, Reading Borough Council has been shortlisted in the Traditional Sign category, 2025 Sign & Wrap Awards. We worked alongside Momo Signs to reinstate a traditional hand-written sign.

We are delighted that Lanhydrock 'The Long Gallery Ceiling Project' has been shortlisted for the Restoration or Conservation Project of the Year. We were appointed by the NT to carry out the programme of work to conserve & redecorate the Jacobean ornamental plasterwork ceiling

Looking forward to returning to the West Front of Wells Cathedral after Easter. Cliveden Conservation has been asked to continue the works from the pilot scheme of 2021 to stabilise the wonderful sculpture & architecture, working with Nick Cox Architects & the Cathedral team.


It has been brilliant to partner with North Devon Council as part of their Heritage Skills Project at the Pannier Market, Barnstaple. Having delivered stone masonry and conservation courses in November, we were delighted to return and offer some introductory sessions on stained glass.
