It's a bit worn, but Exapate congelatella was nfy last night.

It was a quieter night with just 13/6. Red-green Carpet 6, Juniper Carpet 2, Spruce Carpet 2, Epirrita agg, Acleris sparsana and Exapate congelatella.

A decent night with 25/11. Scarce Umber nfy, 2 Mottled Umber, 2 Feathered Thorn, 2 December Moth, 3 Angle Shades, Silver Y, Brick, etc.

A nice late autumn trap here, with 17/10. Two more Brick, December Moth, Blair's Shoulder-knot, Mottled Umber, Scarce Umber, Silver Y, 7 Red-green Carpet, Snout, Common Marbled Carpet, E postvittana.

7 months of 4 species last night was better than expected. Winter Moth (2) was nfy. Also 3 Red-green Carpet, Spruce Carpet and another Brick.

A female Ring-necked Duck at Carsington (found by Jon Bradley) this morning is the 2nd record for the site, following 1 on 8th November 2005.

A very reasonable 11/6 last night in Cromford. December Moth 3, Mottled Umber 3, Scarce Umber, Red-green Carpet 2, Winter Moth and Epiphyas postvittana.
