The WA-MRV program has experimented with the establishment of such spaces through the creation of the Climate MRV Community of Practice (CoP) to address this recent and urgent issue related to climate change and sustainable development in African countries.

"Having an understanding of what this approach entails and how it can be applied is a first step in moving towards the use of MRV in support of this most essential of municipal services."
