Tuesday, 17 Dec. at 2.30 pm Carlow Libraries sees the launch of “Civil War” publication. My contribution to the collection is a short story set in my family home entitled “The Volunteer”, which dramatizes the witnessing of the funeral of executed IRA member James Lillis.

What a treat to attend WGA’s screening of Sean Baker’s Palm D’or winning ‘ANORA’, and to hear from the film’s star Mikey Madison. The film is extraordinary, reminiscent of the best of Beineix and Carax. Madison is excellent in it, and speaks beautifully about her work.

The docudrama written & directed by Marc-Ivan O'Gorman & co-produced by Cleverality will get another airing on NewstalkFM Sunday morning Dec 22nd. The IMRO award-nominated “Who Killed Bill?” examines the life and murder of Irish Hollywood director William Desmond Taylor.
