Jacinta Allan Steve Dimopoulos MP Mary-Anne Thomas MP air pollution impacts poor more significantly- this Easter is a case in point- can’t afford to get out of Melbourne? Be harmed by shocking levels of toxic smoke. Where’s evidence this burning off is saving lives? This smoke’s a killer!

Good to very poor. I only see 4th day straight of very poor. Relying on the rain to clean up but not until tonight. Let’s hope the weather predictions are more accurate than the epa! Pic 7am air quality

Think twice before lighting up. We’re not talking cigarettes. We’re talking woodfire smoke. Smoke from wood heaters is a major source of air pollution during the cooler months. If you can, choose an alternative way to heat your home.

No sign of clean air it’s been days now of smokey conditions. There is no safe level of pm 2.5 pollution. Environment Protection Authority Victoria what are you doing to protect us? Stop these planned burns and regulations for wood heaters need to be changed! We shouldn’t breath toxic air all autumn/spring

Melbourne, currently the most polluted place in Australia. Thanks to ForestFireManagement and residential wood burning. It’s time to phase out dirty polluted ways of heating! Adam Bandt what are the greens doing to stop this pollution? Or do you think it’s ‘green’? Environment Protection Authority Victoria

i watched a season of the block for 1st time I came across this. During the clean up they show a contestant throwing construction waste in a fire. Then in another frame you can see a big fire in background with old planks in it. Is this how The Block dispose of waste? Environment Protection Authority Victoria

Let’s see if ForestFireManagement smoke us out over Easter when everybody is on holidays as they usually do. hope the Environment Protection Authority Victoria are keeping a close eye on them this year. The planned burns all around Melbourne at once creating hazardous air quality last year! Absolutely a public health risk
