The Clayton Fire Department has been holding Rapid Intervention Training, preparing firefighters to rescue one another when the unexpected happens. Emergencies can escalate in minutes, making teamwork, CPR, and training essential.

The Clayton Fire Department is training on the Hydrant Oasis Assistant Valve - a device that boosts hydrant water flow by up to 100%. It gives firefighters a stronger supply, reduces pressure loss, and limits service disruptions for nearby homes and businesses.

The Clayton Fire Dept. hosted Johnston County Emergency Services & North Side Fire & Rescue for Confined Space Training. These challenging rescues teach teamwork and prep crews for complex incidents... training the public rarely sees but helps keep our community safe.
