Interestingly, the defense of Trump supporters in the comments is not "That’s inaccurate", but rather "Biden did it as well". As if that makes corruption any better. If anything, it just confirms that the President of the United States holds too much power.

This is incredibly dishonest from Justin Wolfers, who obviously knows better. The chart is useless in assessing whether tax cuts "pay for themselves". Deficit includes spending, which is not constant, and everything is relative to GDP, which fluctuates (see dips in 2008 and 2020)
