We had two heroes visit Queen's University Belfast 🎓 this week. Our Chancellor Emeritus Senator George Mitchell was in town to launch his new documentary, ‘The Negotiatior’ while Dáithí Mac Gabhann came to visit and shared his brave story as he waits on a heart transplant. I hope he gets the
18 months ago, as a patient on a psychiatric ward having attempted to take my own life- this day felt impossible. Yet today I graduated from Queen's University Belfast 🎓, with the highest average mark in HAPP at Queen's, achieving a 1st in Anthropology & Philosophy & receiving the Joint Honours Prize.
This report is a significant milestone for #NorthernIreland. It highlights the importance of collaboration between academia, industry and government in driving innovation and ensuring we can compete internationally. It’s highly significant that we launched it at Momentum One Zero
