At our Klein College Sports Media Certificate year-end celebration, we listened to a living legend, Claire Smith, interview a rising star, Temple grad Alexis Beckett. We were so fortunate to have Alexis fly in to be with us in the midst of the NFL Draft and the NBA playoffs!

Claire Smith and Samuel O’Neal will be flying to Los Angeles this week to deliver some copies of The Temple News to the students at Pacific Palisades Charter High School and Rosebud Academy who contributed to that special issue!

It’s Mother’s Day so a post for my heavenly mom….My mother taught me so many incredible lessons that I carry with me always – like hard work and faith – that I dedicated my book Uncommon Favor to her. I hope I did her proud. Happy Mother’s Day to all.
