📝Our Chair Victor Adebowale, CEO Peter Holbrook and Patron Claire Dove signed this important letter today on the need to reform our honours system. The struggle for social justice must recognise the need for the UK to break from its colonial past.

After 37 years at the helm of Blackburne House I retire today. I leave with a great sense of pride in our achievements as we have supported many thousands of women to economic independence. My thanks to all that have given their support in our quest for a just and fair society.

I have just attended the funeral of my friend Hambi another victim of Covid. He was a beautiful man and so creative. You my have seen the Film of my retirement which he worked on with Bea Freeman. It was sad to see some young people there who had to be told to put masks on.
