This morning was filled with learning and collaboration with our Dual Language teachers from @crenshawcubs, Harvey Brown and DeZavala Elementary we explored and dive into iReady.
Shoutout to our awesome ESL IST, Mrs. Gonzales at Channelview Falcons , presenting today on Creating Effective Language Objectives to better support our emergent bilingual scholars at the high school level!
Our 2nd session was a great morning of learning with our Dual Language teachers from McGhee Elementary & Hamblen Elementary as we explored iReady to support Emergent Bilinguals!

Thanks to this great group of Dual Language teachers, we had a fantastic day of learning, collaboration, and creating meaningful materials to take back to their classrooms! The morning began with learning walks Barrett-Lee ECC setting the tone for a productive and inspiring day!
It was a pleasure to be at this evening’s event both as a parent and as part of the ML team. Students, my own child included, were honored for meeting all state requirements to reclassify from as an Emergent Bilingual student. Congratulations, scholars! Alice Johnson Junior High School
