Back from retirement! Judge Mark Feyen, who retired December 2024 after 36 years, made an encore return to preside over a recovery court hearing on August 21. Filling in for Judge Derek Dalman (who was at a weeklong specialized training at the Treatment Court Institute).

Ottawa County youth spent the summer gaining real-world experience through career exploration, résumé building, budgeting workshops, and interview prep. They visited employers like Fogg Filler, Gentex, and DeNooyer and worked at parks, farms, schools, and local nonprofits.

We are open for business! As part of the Probate Court’s move to the Courthouse in Grand Haven, a new public service window with an e-filing station was created on the north end of the second floor. We are available to help the public with their cases involving many case types!
